Friday Night Shabbat Services  at 8:00 PM
 (during the summer months Friday Evening 5:30 PM)

All are welcome to join us at Temple Beth Israel as we celebrate the Sabbath in a warm and meaningful way.  Conducted by Rabbi Jonathan Katz, the Reform Service in both Hebrew and English is taken from MISHKAN T'FILAH.  The thirty-voice Temple Beth Israel Choir,  assists the Rabbi.  The congregation participates with a great deal of singing in welcoming the Sabbath Queen in grand style.

An Oneg Shabbat follows the Service.

Saturday Shabbat Services  10:00 AM

Saturday Shabbat Services are conducted by Rabbi Jonathan Katz.  It includes a Torah Service with the reading of the portion of the week. Rabbi Katz summarizes the portion and then leads a discussion with members of the congregation on a specific section of the reading, adding a most interesting and informative part to the Service.  All are welcome.

A Kiddush follows the Service.
